Good day Good People
Counting down, 17 days before examination… (I just want to run away for a while before I am starting to be crazy because of this all. LOL.). Lately, I was MIA for 2 weeks (and maybe will be MIA again for the next 3 weeks hahaha). Suddenly missing my blog and missing some people and urge to read or write something. But at the same time, I want to finish all my tasks, read all my references and be ready for the examination. Have you ever had some paradoxical minds?
Give some refreshing to my brain and my soul, I open my computer and then take a rest at my blog- yet my home/sanctuary. I find something interesting and comforting text from Kent M. Keith. The paradoxical commandments. All of the sentences tell about something that happens in our daily life, but just read it anyway 🙂
Just to make you feel comfort, you can hear this lovely song while reading 🙂
“The Paradoxical Commandments”
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.
The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.
People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.”
