I Am Back (Again)

Dear Good People,

It has been a very looooooooong time we didn’t met each other, I mean by literally. There are so many reasons why I vacuum for such a long time. But, just let it go. Now I am comeback after I can adapt to my new atmosphere, after I have time, have my laptop and my idea that keep bursting out from my brain, and of course after I have many stories that I couldn’t keep it all by myself.

Firstly I hope you are definitely in very healthy condition, in happy feeling and be with all of your beloved person. I am here, almost the same. I am healthy, happy and be with my beloved one, even though far away from my parents but they are always close to my mind, stay in my heart.

Okay then, let me begin the story of my journey as a PTT doctor in a Public Health Center at a regency in East Nusa Tenggara. I have worked here since June, honestly since last week of May 2017. This public health center has general clinic, emergency unit, wards, emergency room for obstetric and wards for obstetric patients. I start my working day since 08.00 in the morning. We have morning report before we start our serving. Actually, I serve the patient at 09.00 after the morning report and it will be until 13.00 or sometimes 14.00 if there are many patients, especially in busy day like Monday and Tuesday, often we have about 60 patientsJ. Cool isn’t it?

From general clinic, I continue to visit my patients at wards and emergency unit where often we have patient that need to be observed. Yaa.. we have patient in the wards. Almost every day, haha. After from the wards, my job isn’t finish yet. I still have to visit my obstetric patients at obstetric wards. This is it. The childbirth rate here, I can say is higher than the public health center while I was an internship doctor. Here also almost every day we have women that giving birth. So, what time is I back home? Usually 15.00 to 16.00. At home, I take a nap for a while and have my late lunch and then about 17.00 or 18.00 there will be patient come to emergency unit because of diarrhea, breathless, headache, vomiting and if it is special day.. like party season, we’ll have accident victim, the stroke hemorrhagic, angina pectoris and cases that need to be referred to hospital. Sometimes, I back home again at 21.00. If there is a patient which is need close monitoring, I have to come back again to emergency unit at 23.00 and at 04.00 at the next day. Isn’t it incredible? I am working 24 hours in seven days. Okay, Sunday we don’t have general clinic but I still have to visit my patients in the ward just to make sure their condition. Sometimes, Sunday or in national holiday we also have outdoor health promotion. So, don’t ask when I have holiday, because maybe there is no such a 24 hours free duty, only few hours and let me just say holi-hours. Just like this time, I just comeback from wards, having a little time and feeling it is so precious hours for me to take a breath.

Hm…hh….

Okay, you can call me now a superhero. Working like mutant, less sleep, late eat. I didn’t know where I got the power. So I know, God is the one who close to me transferring His energy and of course the support from husband and family become the source of my strength.

Don’t ask how much government pay you, because people said our profession should not talking about money. Ironically, some people take advantage of it. So let just I am hoping that God will protect my family, in law, so It will be gift for me more than enough.

I hope that God will always give me strength, give me sincere heart, give me a patiently soul so I can serve human with smile and kindness.

Dear people, maybe I am not 100% the good one, but deep in my heart I always want to be as good as possible. Forgive me if I am wrong and let me thank you for your kind attention. 🙂

With love

The Vitamin – Sea

Dear Good People

I have moved from Bali island to Flores island since two months ago. Being far away from the place where you have grown up sometimes arouses the feeling of missing, missing your home town, my parents, brothers, family, even my dog Thomas and all of everything there. But, life will not become happier if I  let myself be overwhelmed by the sad feeling.

A friend said to me, “where ever you are, as long as you be with someone you love, it called home”. She was true. My husband always comfort me if I cry because of missing home. He knows I love to go to the beach, see the aquamarine of sea and having random talking to my Neptunus. So, one day he took me to one of many graceful places in Maumere. 😀

Good day good good people!

No where, Now Here for Hangout

large

Good day dear people.

I mean, J’s real life.

But, because of limited time, saya ngga sempat browsing. Dalam pikiran saya, pasti filmnya komedi-komedi romantis ala-ala Raditya Dika.

Memasuki awal cerita, filmnya berisi adegan preman dan Bang Radit sok jadi pahlawan gitu. Eh..ternyata ini adalah film dalam film. Lanjut.

Saya ngga pernah nyangka Bang Radit buat film yang kaya gini. Sumpah! So, don’t expect you wil see wajah-wajah yang ketakutan atau menderita kesakitan parah.

Keren! You will know when you see😊

The message behind this movie is “never let your friend being alone and face his/her problems by his/herself”.

This movie tell about friendship and the empathy among our friends.

I recomend you to watch this movie!

With love ❤

Starting the New Year

Dear good people, merry christmast and happy new year!

So, how was your new year eve?

Kita mesti jalan menyusuri tebing batu.

Airnya fresh banget. Tetapi sayang kami ngga mandi. Hoho. Et causa ga bawa baju ganti n malu aja gitu soalnya tempatnya lumayan sakral.

Yup yup. That’s all phals. Laporan singkat awal tahun baru kami.

May this year will bring more luck, love, health, wealth, abundance and happiness for all of us.

Thanks for reading. 😊

Another Sunday at Kelimutu Lake

Good day Good people,

How are you? I am very well. I hope you too.

Yesterday was Sunday (of course! Everyone in Indonesia agree with that). I was so happy because I and J went to the one of the amazing place in Flores : Kelimutu Lake. Honestly, we went there because J will have a meeting in the next day at Ende..so, He took me along and we came by to Kelimutu lake. 😆

Our Preparation

We woke up about 5 o’clock. (1 hour late from our plan before). It was raining in the morning and we thought that we would failed our trip to Kelimutu. I prepared for his coffee and my milk coffee, prepared for a bottle of mineral water and brought our ‘terang bulan’. While we were having our breakfast, the rain stopped. We were so happy that I forgot to bring our umbrella to the car. 😅 ( Thanks god, we didn’t forget to turn off the electricity and lock our home).

Our trip

Along our way to Kelimutu Lake, we heard all songs from my flashdisk. Hahaha. So I could sang all the time while J added the backsound 😂. *Pam pam pam..pam pam pam*.

We went trough the street from Maumere to Wolowaru. J told about his responsibility for watching and observe the street’s work about 79 km. (I am proud of him 😁).

The street of J and team. So smooth 😃
Hills and local people’s farm field

Because it is located in high lands, the weather here is felt a bit cool yet fresh. It is better to bring your jacket or sweater.

Here We Are

After about 2 hours and 30 minutes car driving, we found the entrance to Taman Nasional Kelimutu area. There, we paid the entrance ticket for two adults and a car total about 25.ooo rupiahs.

From here, we continued our trip for about 20 minutes. Along the way, I saw many big trees, like we were into a forest. (Surely it was).

There is a statue without name before we arrived at the parking area. Maybe it was the statue of the Geologist who did research or who invented Kelimutu (?).

Parking area, the stairways will lead us the way to Kelimutu Lakes

From parking area, we continued our trip by walking to the top of the mountain along the stairway. Don’t worry, the way here is not so extreme and already good.

There were monkeys that greet us

Beware if you bring some foods because there are monkeys here. When I and J brought our Instant noodle, a monkey starred at us and chased after us. I was so scared 😂. Fortunately, J starred back at that monkey and seems like it scared to J. Thanks god, our noodles were safe.

About Kelimutu Lakes

Near Ata Polo Lake

Mountain Kelimutu was first discovered by a Dutch military officer: B. Van Schutelen at 1915. At 1920, Kelimutu had its first scientific announcement. Kelimutu became more popular after Y. Bouman wrote about it at 1929. Mt. Kelimutu last erupted at 1963. It became Recreation Park since 1982 and became National Park since 1992. It has 3 craters which height of wall crater about 90-150 m.

The Myth About Kelimutu Lakes

Mt. Kelimutu has 3 craters lake with different and changing colour over the time. The exact cause of changing colour still unknown but it is related with the chemical reaction of minerals inside the lake and the weather. The colour changes without clue before its changing.

There is an old myth about Kelimutu lakes. Once upon a time there was a very kind person named Ata Mbupu. There was also a witched that like to eat human named Ata Polo. Both of them were best friend despite of their different character. One day, there was a couple of orphan, named Ana Kalo who asked for protection to Ata Mbupu.

Ata Polo found that children and want to eat them. Ata Mbupu realized that couldn’t defeat Ata Polo so Ata Mbupu run away to the base of earth. An earthquake happened and buried Ata Polo. The Ana Kalo also died and buried by the earthquake.

From the place where Ata Mbupu died, came out a blue water and it became Ata Bupu Lake (Tiwu Ata Mbupu) the lake of old people. Red water came out from the place of Ata Polo died, became Ata Polo Lake (Tiwu Ata Polo) the lake of bad/bewitched people. Between them, from where Ana Kalo buried, came out green water became Nuwa Muri Koo Fai Lake, the lake for youth.

The people here believed that after human die, their soul will remain in Kelimutu and live at one of Kelimutu Lakes depend on age and how their behaviour in life

Ata Polo Lake, Koo Fai Nuwa Muri Lake and Ata Mbupu Lake
When we came there, we saw that reactivity of Koo Fai Nuwa Muri Lake. It seems like it gonna change it turquoise colour into white colour.
Ata Mbupu Lake

At the top of this point, there is a monument with 3 side. I thought they tell about The People, the Culture and the Nature of Kelimutu.

After taking so many pictures and satisfied by the view, we decided to back. It was already 13.00, the strong wind, the hot day and our hungry stomach made us back to parking area.

But, we were not go home that easily when we found another spot that attracted our curiosity: Remain Dutch Houses.

He got call from his friend about his job, so I didn’t want to bother him 😂
Remain Dutch Houses

We didn’t find any informations about this old building, when it was built? what the story behind it? If you going there and want to know, you may come to the information centre at the south of the parking area.

Kelimutu Information centre

There were some local people selling snacks and local coffee.

Because the day before, we watched Filosofi Coffee, we got influence and then we tried black coffee by the local people. J said they put ginger in the coffee which made this coffee has unique taste. Me: Its taste..hm..hm.. like a coffee 😅 *LOL*

After took a break for a while, we back to the car and headed to the hotel where we will stay. I was still amaze with the view. On the way to hotel, we found a hot pool. This pool is still free so we didn’t have to pay to place our feet here 😄

The water is pure and warmth!

—————————–

Ok good people, thats all story about our Sunday.

Thank you God for his generousity and kindness, for this chance, for all amazing nature and for everything that I couldn’t say one by one. Thanks to J for all jokes that made me laugh along the way, for every silly backing vocal, for saving me and my noddle from monkey attact, for holding my hands while walking, for contributing photos to my blog, and of course for this journey. 😁

With love from me and J at Ende

Another New Couple Story

Good day good people, how do yo do?

Here I am so fine, I hope so you are. 😫 *mulai ngiler*

Biarpun langit gelap gulita karena hujan, rasanya ngga produktif banget kalau siang-siang gini tidur-tiduran, so I prefer to write in my hommy blog. (Ngga menghasilkan uang sih..tapi setidaknya ini ga akan menumpuk kalori pada bagian-bagian tubuh yang sudah berlemak and at least, saya membuat sebuah karya meskipun ecek-ecek.

Kali ini saya ingin bercerita tentang kehidupan baru saya sebagai seorang Ibu rumah tangga. *uhuk*. Untuk Aji yang mungkin sengaja membaca blog saya, so now your little daughter become a house wife 😂.

Begitu juga ipar saya ayu dan masih banyak lagi wanita-wanita lainnya, including me

*hanya pikiran saya aja sih*

Alhasil.. J  kini menjadi korban penikmat masakan saya. Kata J sih enak (enak kalau udah habis ya J? 😂).  *Plak*

bahkan..menggoreng kentang sampai berbusa membuat saya begitu excited 😂

With love,

Another Part of My Life Phase

Good day good people, how are you?

Mimpi! 😂 hahaha. Sorry, I am kidding.

Thank you to all of my friends, teman seperjuangan, sejaga, sekocil dan apalah itu; terima kasih atas kerja sama satu tahun ini.

:’). Thank you for assissting us.

And what about me? I am.. married.

This is seriously 😂. I am sorry I didn’t make announcement here.. I was preparing for my wedding. Sibuk, sibuk-sibuk galau 😂.

Yah..mumpung di Maumere, kami menyempatkan diri mengunjungi Tanjung Salib.. A beautiful view.. a beautiful God’s creature..
